1 · Who we email

RD Wire Products is a B2B fabricator. We primarily email business contacts at organizations with which we have an existing or prospective relationship. Per Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and SOR/2013-221 s. 3(a)(ii), employee-to-employee messaging between two organizations with an existing relationship — concerning the recipient organization's activities — is exempt from CASL's consent rules.

2 · When the B2B exemption doesn't apply

For other recipients, we rely on:

• Express consent via the checkbox on our quote forms.
• Implied consent from a recent inquiry (6 months) or signed contract (24 months) — per CASL s. 10(10).
• Conspicuous publication — if you've published your business email on your company's website without a "no unsolicited email" notice — per CASL s. 10(9)(b).

3 · What every email includes

Per CRTC requirements (crtc.gc.ca/eng/com500/faq500.htm):

• Our legal name (RD Wire Products, a division of Almeida's Wire Inc.)
• A mailing address valid for at least 60 days after the message
• Phone, email, and web address
• A working unsubscribe link, valid for 60 days, processed within 10 business days

4 · Unsubscribe

Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or email unsubscribe@rdwire.com. Requests are processed within 10 business days. We retain records of unsubscribe requests in case of audit.

5 · Complaints

If you believe we've violated CASL, please contact us first at privacy@rdwire.com. You can also file a complaint with the CRTC Spam Reporting Centre at fightspam.gc.ca.
