Background

Three decades of wire fabrication.
Quietly built.

RD Wire Products operates from a single-roof fabrication facility in Etobicoke, Ontario, with a team carrying more than fifty combined years of wire-manufacturing experience. We do not make consumer goods. We make the wire that other companies depend on — every day, in every shift, in every kitchen, hospital, warehouse, and retail floor where it operates.

The Operation

Wire is what we do.
Specifically — and only.

RD Wire Products is a fabricator, not a distributor. Every basket, guard, rack, and custom assembly we ship is bent, welded, and finished inside our own facility — by people who have been doing this work, in this industry, for decades. There is no sub-contracted line, no overseas pass-through, no drop-shipping. Tolerances held to the eighth of an inch, lead times held to the day.

We have spent thirty years answering the same question in five different industries: what do you need to fabricate, and by when? The answer is rarely the same twice. A fryer basket for a 200-location quick-service chain has nothing in common with an IV hook for a regional hospital, except that both are made from steel wire and both have to arrive on time, to spec, every time.

We don’t sell catalogs. We sell capacity.

Our team operates without layers. The same fabricator who reads your engineering drawing is often the one running the bender that makes your part. The same quoting voice on the phone is the same voice you’ll hear at delivery. This is deliberate — a flat operation responds faster, catches more errors, and remembers your last order without needing a CRM to surface it.

The result, after thirty years, is what most North American wire fabricators no longer offer: direct conversation with the people who actually make the product, backed by the equipment, training, and material inventory to fulfill what is agreed in that conversation.

Process

How a wire product becomes yours.

Same five steps for a fifty-unit prototype run as for a fifty-thousand-unit production order. The only thing that changes is the number of pallets at the end.

  1. Step 01

    Brief

You send a drawing, a sample, or a description. We translate it into a fabrication-ready spec. Most quotes returned within one business day.

  2. Step 02

    Design

Our engineering desk validates dimensions, gauge, finish, and assembly method. Where a drawing is missing, we generate one and confirm it with you before tooling.

  3. Step 03

    Prototype

First article fabricated, measured, and shipped for your physical approval. We move to production only after you sign off on the part in your hand.

  4. Step 04

    Fabricate

Production runs the spec. Cutting, bending, welding, finishing, and assembly all under one roof on a fixed schedule. No surprises, no sub-contracted gaps.

  5. Step 05

    Deliver

Packed for freight, paperwork attached, dispatched on the agreed date. We ship across North America by truckload, LTL, or parcel depending on order size.

Industries Served

Five sectors. One fabrication standard.

Every industry RD ships into has its own tolerance for failure. We hold to whichever is tighter.

How We Operate

Three operating rules. Every day. Every order.

  • 01

    No layers.

The fabricator who reads your drawing is the one who runs the line that makes your part. The voice on the phone is the voice that signs the dispatch ticket. Flat, fast, accountable.

  • 02

    Twenty-four hours.

Most quote requests return inside one business day. Most prototype runs ship inside ten business days. Most production runs hold to the date we agreed at order intake.
